Everyone knows that the Ctrl+N key
combination is using to obtain a new document or project in an application
software such as MS Word, Adobe InDesign, Audacity, Premier etc. But the same
can use to clone an opened window in Microsoft Windows.
I can explain it. You opened a
folder (eg. F:\Data) in your Windows platform and the window has many folders
such as music, images, documents etc. Suppose you have a pen drive with mixed
file formats like movies, music, images etc. You need to copy them all to the
corresponding folders inside the folder which you opened before. There are many
ways to perform this task. One thing is that, you just open the music folder
and copy all the music files from the pen drive to that folder. Do the same for
all formats. Or open all folders simultaneously, verify and copy files to the
corresponding folders instantly. That will be more helpful.
Then how can we open all these folders
simultaneously without opening my computer each time. Simple method is that,
press control (Ctrl) key and double click the folder you want to open. As a
result you can see that the folder opened as a new window. This action can
repeat for all other folders.
Another method is press Ctrl+N
combination after opening the main folder (F:\Data). Each time you press the
keys the window clones a new one. You can then open each folder inside the
parent folder (F:\Data) to copy corresponding content from the pen drive.
