Task Manager is one of the most useful system tools in Windows. Task Manager provides information about programs and processes running on your computer. It also displays the most commonly used performance measures for processes. An advanced user can handle Task Manager to control system processes. We can remove unwanted programmes from the process list and make the performance better. An advanced user can detect running virus files on the process list.
We can use Task Manager to monitor key indicators of your computer's performance. We can see the status of the programs that are running and end programs that have stopped responding. We can also assess the activity of running processes using as many as fifteen parameters, and see graphs and data on CPU and memory usage.
In addition, if the system is connected to a network, we can view network status and see how the network is functioning.
To run Task Manager use Alt+Ctrl+Del key combination. We can also open Task Manager by using a RUN command. Open RUN window from start menu. Type ‘taskmgr’, press OK. This will start task manager.
Another common method to open Task Manager is by right clicking on the task bar. When right clicking, a menu will appear. Choose task manager from the appeared menu.
Virus infection may disable Task Manager from opening.
